Hello doggie

Everytime you mention the word doggie, Katie will turn towards the window and wave. It started out that whenever the dog from down the road barked, I would say, Where's the doggie, or hello doggie, and theus the wave. But sometimes when I say "where's daddy' she'll turn to the window and wave!!

Her two bottom teeth have come through and their very sharp, but i think she's feeling a bit of pain elsewhere. She was carnky today, and I attribute it to teething. So i applied the teething gel i have for the first time. Not sure if it had any effect.

It's gonna be a tough week for me. I'm on the second day of a 7 day stretch at work. We finished work at 2am last night - week in bloody review! And then got up at 6:40am for Katie. I'm coping well, but it I think it'l catch up with me tomorrow. And if not tomorrow, then early next week. Plus, Gigi can't move because he had his knee op on Wednesday (three days ago) and so my morning is just so full on, shuttling between Gigi and Ktie. Not a moment to breathe, except for when Katie had a nap this morning. But it was only for 40 minutes. Wish she'd sleep longer. But i shouldn't complain. She sleeps through the night.

My first tooth

Ok,so you don't see it in this picture. But I swear the first sign of a tooth came while we were in Italy. I saw it before I felt it, but it wasn't long till I could feel it too. I remember the day, it was a monday. Probably the 31st of July 2006.

Today is the 13th of August which is Katie's 9 month old birthday. And I have to say she's very cute! :-)
